I am passionate about healthy living, the body’s natural ability to heal and the way nature can be used to balance and restore our energy and well being. My love of the natural world is a constant source of inspiration in my practice.

I began exploring this natural and holistic way of experiencing the world back in 1995 when, after a lifetime of dancing and using my body to its fullest, persistent injuries and lowered energy made me re-evaluate my path. So I began learning how to heal my body and raise my energy and through this journey became a qualified Sports Massage Therapist and Advance Sports Therapist. And more recently I have become a fully qualified IIN health coach.

Through my business Truth Of  You, I have combined what I have learnt so far and my two types of training to bring a holistic approach to health and well being to others. And with this I help them to unravel and ignite the truth of what makes them thrive while I continue to discover my own truth on my journey to optimal health.

Alongside running my health coaching and bodywork business I am transforming my garden in to a permaculture haven of nutritious home-grown food and a healing and restorative space. I love to walk, practice yoga and dance - even if it is now in the comfort of my own home!

My Approach

I believe that only when we are living from our own truth can we have true balance of mind, body and spirit. And so my approach to coaching is personal and bespoke. I love to support others on their journey by showing them other options and offering them other choices, sharing with them holistic alternatives to the current conventional ways that we maintain health, while facilitating a safe space for their exploration and development.

My practice is holistic, which means that when we work together we look at your life as a whole, considering how all its aspects are connected and how this impacts your energy. We will explore the four main lifestyle factors which can impact your health, known as the primary foods; physical activity, spirituality, relationships and career, as well as the food you eat. 

We will not dwell on calories, carbs fats and proteins, nor will there be a list of ‘good’ or ‘bad’ foods. Instead we will discover what works for you and your body and I will help you discover new foods and activities for you to enjoy for life.

I will give you the power and knowledge to make the right lifestyle choices, helping you to create sustainable changes and achieve your individual health goals.

My Training

I completed my training as a health coach through The Institute of Integrative Nutrition. The training taught me about over 100 dietary theories from Ayurveda to raw foods and from vegan to paleo and how to develop a unique coaching style and practical lifestyle management techniques.

During this time I was fortunate enough to learn from some of the worlds top health and wellness experts including Gabriella Bernstein, Joshua Rosenthal, Susan Blum (MD, MPH) and Marion Nestle (PhD, MPH) amongst many, many others. And you will often hear me refer back to them.

I am also a fully qualified Advanced Sports Therapist and have been working with clients since 2002. My bodywork technique also uses my skills as a qualified Master LaStone therapist and Reiki Healer as well as a wealth of experience from learning about the Alexander Technique.
